So Jaland said today that they had a closed door team meeting after FSU loss?
Clearly it didn’t help much.
Not sure why he even talked about it today.

Mets turned their season around after having one last year.there is nothing more over rated and meaningless than the "players only meeting". in any sport.
so they just started hitting better and pitching better all because of this closed door, players only meeting? They were half assing it until some players yelled and screamed behind closed doors and then all of a sudden, everyone gave it 100% and they started winning?Mets turned their season around after having one last year.

Seriously. I would love to know what team hasn't had one. I guess maybe if you make it through the regular season undefeated you don't need one, but other than that, every team has one of these.Yeah, it's one of those things where everybody has them and then you mostly only hear about the ones that worked. I'm sure there have been quite a few Disney-worthy orations given by coaches before games prior to said team getting its doors beat off, too.
Defense and rebounding are playing as a team with effort and communication.I hope it was ONLY about playing as a team, sharing the ball, playing team defense and rebounding. This hero ball won't work. We don't need superstars. We need guys who know how to work together and win.
