Toledo and Temple being the biggest jokes of the polls this week.
Good teams, but their resumes are not impressive enough to be ranked.Sorry to tell you, but this is 2015. Bobby Wallace doesn't live here anymore.

Northwestern lost to Iowa 41-10 at Northwestern, lost to a ranked Michigan 38-0, but beat a ranked Wisconsin team tho! Pitt did lose all their games against ranked teams, but they were all pretty close!Northwestern is the only one of the teams both posters mentioned I think that has an argument for being ranked where they are. The rest of the teams are incredibly overrated and Pitt should be ranked much higher than. Toledo and Temple being the biggest jokes of the polls this week.
If we are lucky, we will have one or two wins over teams that have a seven win season.
This is a legitimately good Temple team but they will lose 11 starters and not enjoy the limelight for long...Sorry to tell you, but this is 2015. Bobby Wallace doesn't live here anymore.
Wow. I miss the days when people evaluated football teams and talent with their eyes. Endless talk of analytics and resumes make me feel like sports are becoming the real nerds obsession.

People still do. And comparing "resumes" has been around forever. Has to, given that each team only plays about 10% of the teams out there.Wow. If seems to me that beyond the Top 10 teams the goal of rankings is to be inclusive.
For example the only good team Toledo beat was Arkansas.
The only "not so good teams" Houston beat were The Ville and The Bearcats?
How does that get either of these teams a top 25 ranking???
I believe the goal is to include all conferences and geography explaining the Washington St ranking.
Go Pitt!
