He talked up all his H.S. players as if they were ready for the pro's and the recruiters ate it up. His list of failed 4 star recruits out of Gateway is only topped by PSU NFL busts:

Aaron Smith
Cam Saddler
Shayne Hale
Corey Brown
Dorian Bell
Dondi Kirby

Just to name a few... He has no credibility and his coaching sucks...

I will tell you when you will know what this game is....next year. Because we see PSU has real trouble drawing close to 100K for their non rival games. I am kind of guessing this game will be close to their magic number.

Really how is that battling working out. PSU has 1 exactly 1 outright Big Ten championship in 22 years. I will give the nits 2005 but 2008 was not a very good team. Lost to Iowa away and got crushed by USC in the bowl game. Pete called off the dogs at halftime. So in 22 years, PSU hasn't been the elite program since leaving the eastern independent schedule.
