As I watch these repeated
losses to lower level teams,
I've come to the conclusion
that we wouldn't beat these
teams if we played them
again. IMO there is talent
on these team's rosters
that plays better than our
supposed better talent. It's
not all coaching either. I
feel Capel has totally lost
this program, not because of
in game X's and O's, but an
inability to recruit and retain
ACC level players. I thought
Jeffress was an ACC talent,
so far he's not even close.
The only two IMO are Femi
and Hugley.
I posted in another thread that
the Citadel's Brown is better
than anyone we have. UMBC's
Kennedy would start for us and
be one of our better players.
Their 3's weren't luck (yes our D
is bad) but they CAN shoot. In
fact, they're far better shooters
than our players. It's sad, but a
lot of it is TALENT, or lack of it
