since that game is going on hiatus. Of course, they said the usual "these schoold have to work together to play these games" spiel. These were the games they listed:

Pitt/PSU
Pitt/WVU
Texas/Texas A&M
Texas/Arkansas (never really thought of this as a great rivalry)
Oklahoma/Nebraska
Missouri/Kansas

Maybe they will go for my Week 0 idea 1 day. I know its tough now with 3 of the 5 P5s playing 9 games but the reality is that even the biggest programs arent making much extra money off of that FCS home game. Most tickets are sold as a package and that game has very little value to season-ticket buyers. If these teams wanted to play these games, they could. It would just take giving up that FCS home game (or G5 home game) and playing that rival team 1 year then traveling their the next year.

The one thing I heard this week that blew my mind was that there are tickets available for a a couple of ND home games and that you can call the ticket office to get a ticket. More and more teams I think will have this issue as cupcakes are scheduled and because TV makes it easier to watch at home. And is actually a better experience as it is painful to sit through all the TV timeouts.
