Because a loss would have also told us a lot so, obviously, a win carries the same weight.

I agree. The most impressive thing about this game is they replicated exactly what Pitt did during their great seasons-take over the game at about the 5 minute mark and make the big plays that mean the difference between winning and losing. That's what good teams do, even against good competition.
Count me as impressed. The small lineup generates more scoring chances.
I'll say this....when the other team doesn't even try to rebound, we will be in games. Cuse played hard, but their rebounding was embarrassing. It allowed a poor shooting pitt team to stay in the game, and ultimately we played our best four minutes of the game in the last four.
Also, Jeter and Jones off the bench are just better than most teams can throw out there.
