Pitt's 18 made threes tops the all time Pitt record of 17, against Lafayette in January of 2008. Oddly enough, before tonight there was a three way tie for second at 15, and one of them was at Wake last year and one of them was at Wake the year before. We must like making threes against them.

And Blake Hinson's 8 made threes ties the Pitt individual record. He now co-holds the record with Jared Wilson-Frame, Andre Alridge and Jason Maile.

And Hinson might have had the record himself if he wouldn't have passed up the open look he had with 2 seconds on the shot clock on Pitt's final possession.

They sure left PItt open numerous times. Good college shooters can make a bunch of they’re given time and space to shoot with their preferred mechanics and in rhythm.

I guess they had some amnesia about the previous PItt games? Or forgot to check the PItt record book? 🤷‍♂️😊
