Pitt vs Pitt action coming up with Keslar vs Bode Marlow in the round of 32
I don’t think that’s Briar Priest, that’s Braden Priest, a UNC commit.

Doubt there is and he probably isn’t ready. Gonna be a lot of growing pains, Marlow won’t be here and ready for 2 years. No idea what Pitt is ever thinking

Keslar definitely looks better than MacKay this tournament but it is freestyle tbf. I think they will have a good competition for the 165 spot. Hopefully Keslar up a weight class will allow him to overcome some of his offensive issues from last year
Bode Marlow just teched nc state commit, Latrell Schafer. Schafer was #54 on 2024 big board. Looks like the Pitt 2025 class got a good one in Marlow
Good job Marlow ! Saw he got teched by backup 57 from standford . Same wrestler who got Keslar earlier in the day .
U17s:
going to list some possible targets at some of the weight classes
55kg: Dillard from BECA is in the finals, Sidun, Sledzianowski, O’Neill, and Mulyeart are all PA guys as well
60kg: Karson Brown is Kade’a brother and should be one of Gavin’s first calls on June 15. Dom Deputy is from chestnut ridge and was a 106 pound state finalist in march thats already competing up at 130. Tyler DeKraker is from virginia then went to blair and is now at Faith. So not really a PA guy but he does live in the state technically
71kg: Jayden James from Delbarton is a beast who is constantly growing and moving up in weight classes. Owen McMullen is an under the radar McCourt kid who is very good
110: Bechtold and Effendian are PA heavyweights from district 1. Bechtold is constantly getting better and has the frame to be an elite heavyweight. They are the same class as little Pitzer but they should definitely kick tires on both.
Wolbert is a finalist at 65kg and committed to UNC
Sherlock is a finalist at 81kg and committed to UVA
This shows how even the lower half of the ACC is getting these guys at the world team level. That is something Pitt needs to do in order to keep up long term
