By a mile...nobody else is even close.

They are a legit top 10 team and we need to give our best efforts this week or we will be embarrassed by them again...

Their offense is going to be by far the best we face this season. Keeping them under 30 points would be an accomplishment. Hopefully we don’t try to cover WRs with linebackers 20 yards downfield

It sounds crazy but holding them to around 30 points would be a great accomplishment. Especially since they have 29 games in a row with 30 or more points. Even if we hold them to 30 we have not shown the ability to put the ball in the end zone. We get a lot of yards but field goals won’t beat UCF. Hopefully our O can put it together this week. Going to be a real tough game against a talented UCF team.

Has this young QB been under any pressure? Watching their highlights, he's just sitting back there throwing lollipops downfield for huge gains. If Pitt is going to win, they have to pressure him and the DB's need to be aggressive on the ball. You can't let him be comfortable. They need him to turn the ball over.

They are no doubt the toughest team on our schedule. The biggest concern is that they will score 30+ points and we can't score 30+ points. That usually results in a loss for the good guys.

On Peaks podcast he had on a guy who covers UCF. The guy said he has been excellent against the blitz. He has thrown 9 TD’s and 5 are against the blitz. But I agree we can’t give him time and will probably have to blitz and give him different looks to hopefully confuse him.

Well, I'd say that dude has no idea what he's talking about. I watched the Stanford highlights and he had 5 TDs, none of which came against a blitz. In fact, on several occasions Stanford was only rushing 3.

They can get pressure without the blitz, but you need to mix it in and bring it from different areas.

I didn’t watch the game so you may be correct.

I still think we should blitz him. We have excellent corners but you can’t expect them to cover all day. Give him different looks and hopefully confuse a young QB.

What rankings are ucf recruiting classes over the last 4 or 5 years. Are they loaded with 4 and 5 stars or 3 and 4 stars exactly, what is their recruiting like? Or coaching? Not in power conference either, First year head coach, In other words, why are they so good

Believe it or not, all of this is happening with 2 and 3 star players. Frost and Heupel have both been great at coaching those players up to their full potential, and Randy Shannon's defense has been forcing takeaways every game. Frost made it a mission to recruit guys with serious speed, and the big time playmakers are explosive because of the coaching system we now have in place.

Yes, UCF is easily the toughest team on our schedule this year

Our D needs to pressure the QB. And our O needs to put up points. Even as good as our D is, UCF is going to score a fair amount so the O needs to control the ball and put TDs on the board

I think all of his TDs have been with a pretty clean pocket. There were several situations in the Stanford game though where he handled pressure pretty well. Both ended with completions. One of them he was being chased in the backfield, eluded a tackle, and was still able to keep his vision and connect on the throw.

Pitt fans seem very interested in recruiting stars.
fried-chicken and I are cool beans back on our home board, but want to caution every Knight to be respectful as a visitor to another team's board. Although UCF is heavily favored, the games are played for a reason. Don't believe me? Ask Florida State.

Aren't fans of all teams interested in recruiting stars?
We don't ever get too worked up about the number of 4 stars we land mostly because in the last 4 years I think there's only one 4 star we've signed that's still on the roster and we have a ton of 2 stars that are major contributors. I guess since we sort of target the under-recruited players we're more used to having lower star players contribute early. Its just a different world I suppose.

He has stellar pass protection from his offensive line

I want to get the best players we can...

I'm never excited to get 2 star players but we have had several that have turned into good players.

Aaron Donald and Darrelle Revis were both Rivals 3 stars, but I always knew that Revis would be a super star!

You guys are talking as if Ucf's offense is right there with Oklahoma and they aren't.Put some pressure on the QB,mug their wideouts and see how good they are. You'll be able to run on them this will help Pickett control the clock.I personally think VA can play with UCF.

Playing devils advocate here, but evidently we couldn’t play with VA.
