JFYI
What’s $10 million buy? For UNC, better TV-production facilities for sports

Discussion started Yesterday at 11:16 AM.

  1. Tucked away in a state bill that authorizes borrowing for new university construction projects, UNC-Chapel Hill officials are seeking permission to build a $10 million television-production center that they’d use to create sports programming for the ACC Network. The product would add three control rooms and two studios to the Koury Natatorium. (Durham Herald-Sun)

Appears to be more good news to see that things are progressing at UNC to meet the scheduled ACCN linear channel start-up timetable. It'll be here before you know it!

Pitt isn't quite there yet. The university is getting ready for the Philosophy Department's hot new "Sartre is Smartre" YouTube series. The pilot has real drama when the department's "Dare to Voltaire" contingent challenges the maverick Sartre group's footnotes.

Well, if the Commonwealth Senators used State Resources to file Lawsuits against the NCAA and Penn State used General Funds to Defend themselves, and The Second Mile was given a $3 Million Grant later rescinded, Pitt, Temple and Lincoln should be given $10 million in Grants to Build Media Communications Facilities for them too, and at least that Project will bring money into Pitt, unlike the Penn State College Football Program Scandal sucking it out of Pennsylvnaia to pay Fines, PSU Lawsuits, Settlements, Athletic Integrity Policies, Employees, and Children Protection Facilities, as well as Paying for the Defense of 3 PSU Leadership Convicted Criminals that PMA Insurance will demand back.

What Penn State Name and Shame brought to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the Legislature should provide the funds for Pitt, Lincoln, and Temple to restore the Renewal, Excellence, and Renaissance by Rehabilitating the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Name and help set up media facilities that can bring Money back in to help Schools in Pennsylvania.

They should also Mandate the Pitt-Penn State Series Renewal that brings Tuorism Dollars to both Locations every year! Why Mayor Peduto that is a PSU Graduate and Pitt Post-Graduate not advocating Millions for the city when they play, just like be bragged about the Penguins Playoff Money and Hotels Tax, should be called on it as well.
