Their starting QB was suspended for 3 games and they started a true frosh QB.
The QB was a bright spot for them last night. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps the job. Turnovers, missed FG and not converting are the reasons this game was close.
Tulane also played ultra-conservative but they deserve credit for hanging around.

I think a first year Fr. started at QB for WF and threw about 55 passes and completed about 35 with 2 int. and a TD. Not really certain of final stats but probably close enough.
They didn't want to give anything away for their big matchup next week with Nicholls State.

Cuse QB already broke the all time rushing record with a 170 yards rushing with 9 minutes left in the 2nd Quarter. Its beyond impressive for Syracuse
