that means there are less than 40,000 at the game.

And the lower deck is at least 80% red.

Not true. The Nit fandom are wearing clothes that just happen to be the same color of the seats. There are 107,000 (Strong!) fans jammed-in to support their team -- you just can't see 'em on television.

Looks like there are more people there than for most Pitt games.

I got to say, it is pretty impressive that Penn State can get more fans in Jacksonville for a bowl game than Pitt can get in Pittsburgh for a regular season game.
What else is there to do in slappy ass valley?

Are you severely vision impaired or just plain stupid?

How inferior the cult member has to be to go to the Pitt board during his team's game.

Ummmmm.....you do realize all those people dressed in red are not there because of Penn State, eh? And Jacksonville is essentially a suburb of Georgia?

There were more pitt fans at Annapolis, by at least a two to one margin, than there are Psu fans in Jacksonville.

If you took away the Psu band, there'd be nothing but red at the game.

Also.... Your team is playing right now... What are you doing here, especially since we're "not your rivals"?

You sir, are a DONG

Most PoSU fans are idiots, so there you go.

And to head-off any Pitt/Navy comparisons by the Nits who lurk here: the Nits would have certainly lost to Navy, too.

Franklin doesn't beat ranked teams; Navy was a ranked team. ;)

Am I wrong? The Miami game had 40,000 people.
I would bet a good amount of money there are more people at this game than 40k.

The point is that none of them are Penn State fans ..... Pitt had more fans at the Military Bowl then Penn State has at the Gator Bowl by what looks like a wide margin.

Even more impressive because Georgia players are basically coaching themselves. There are like 3 interim coaches for Georgia.

Probably making up the plays in the huddle drawing in the dirt. You do a double button hook, break downfield, and I'll fake it to ya!

You would lose that bet.

The stadium holds 67k, of which 30k are in the upper deck. The upper deck is completely, 100%, empty.

The lower deck is 80-90% full, and almost all red.

My guess is 32k Georgia fans and 4K PSU fans....and that includes the band.

Based on the PSU crowd (or lack thereof) it appears as though the cult's 2016 New Year's resolution is to ignor the dominator's incompetence.

Opened up an account just to say that. That is the last we will hear from him, why don't you go to the PSU basketball game and help their attendance.

Good-the way this bowl has treated Pitt over the years, they are getting exactly what they deserve.

The official attendance today was 58,212!

That is more than every single Pitt Home game except Notre Dame.
Or do you guys count yellow seats?
That might be how many tickets they gave out, but there was little more than half that in the stadium.

Both upper decks were almost completely empty.

Regardless of what the number actually was, it was 85-90% Georgia fans wearing red.

LOL. What don't you understand that the overwhelming majority were UGA fans? And what does that have to do with Pitt home games? Deflect, deflect ,deflect. Can't defend the PSU (lack of) turnout today so let's talk about Heinz Field!!!!!!
