Obviously the use of statistics is important. They're
often used on this board to support an opinion.
It reminds me of an old adage...... Give me a set of
statistics and I'll prove an opinion or point of view.
Give me the same set of statistics and I'll prove
the opposite opinion or point of view.
We see it happen in politics everyday. We
also see it here on this board.
By the way, I admit I'm sometimes guilty of
doing the above. LOL
