At some point we may very well run into our ceiling in the rankings. We just aren't getting any high level wins right now (which isn't our fault, that's just the way the conference cookie has crumbled this year), and at some point voters are going to wonder if they should keep moving us up above teams that may have lost a game but who also have a lot more top wins than us. For instance Texas has four losses. Two of them are to number two Stanford. One was to number eight Wisconsin. And this week's loss to 12-4 Kansas. They have top 25 wins over Oregon, Kentucky and Baylor. And we are not one of the traditional powers of the game. At some point some number of voters are going to look at our resume and say, that's it, I can't put them any higher than that. Just like happens to teams like UCF and before that Boise State in football.
