I agree this team is tough and they know how to finish these close games in the last few minutes and look like they are a mature team and they get it. A win Saturday against Clemson and they will definitely be ranked come next week. You still worry about the Capel collapse that has happened every year in February but I don’t think it happens with this team. This Pitt team at this point has an excellent shot of making the NCCA tournament unless they just completely fall apart.

Some of these guys feel so much like the Pitt teams of old. Like Cummings: A point guard who isn't really a point guard but gets the jobs done. Hinson: A dude who doesn't look overly athletic but is just a grown ass man who can play. Burton: Unconventional, but another effective grown ass man. Etc.

He/they have the right attitude. ESPN asks what he wants the country to think about Pitt. “Nothing- let them keep thinking how they did before the season started.” Onto the next one!

easily could have wilted.
Instead they hung
tough, and didn't get
over excited. They just
stuck with it and finished.
