We have been able to penetrate this defense from the wing very well this half. Keep it up, go to the goal hard, we will be shooting FT's on every foul now. Don't settle for 3's!

We couldn't gave played the last two minutes any dumber. Drained clock and wasted an offensive possession when time wasn't a factor yet. Bad foul by Hinson to take. Slipped on our own guy. And then tried to slam it when we should have dished it for a layup.
Capel changes the offense at the half but Pitt looked much better defensively too!
What a 2nd half!!! That was the best defense I have seen this team play under Capel!!
I agree this team is tough and they know how to finish these close games in the last few minutes and look like they are a mature team and they get it. A win Saturday against Clemson and they will definitely be ranked come next week. You still worry about the Capel collapse that has happened every year in February but I don’t think it happens with this team. This Pitt team at this point has an excellent shot of making the NCCA tournament unless they just completely fall apart.

He/they have the right attitude. ESPN asks what he wants the country to think about Pitt. “Nothing- let them keep thinking how they did before the season started.” Onto the next one!
No collapse this year. They have DUDES and chemistry. Fede inside and him getting better each game is a game changer
