You don't get it. Trump has turned politics as usual upside down. How do you think the bands of career politicians feel when someone with zero political experience, who as you all point out over and over, is incompetent and a buffoon, comes to Washington and produces a booming economy, despite every landmine they put in his path. Then, the best they can put up against him is a career politician with nothing to show for his lifetime as politics as usual.

Many of your posts make no sense, and I'm not talking about underlying content. You don't need to critique my writing skills. Where did you learn to write? I'd stay clear of that place.
I'm not here to criticize the writing and grammar of every post of yours because I'd be here all day doing that. This is just a message board and people write in all different ways that are probably incorrect most of the time, and no one cares. But you keep bragging about your writing skills and command of the English language, but repeatedly can't demonstrate it. You're the one who keeps bragging about this and other things you do and can do. That's not a good look when you can't back it up. You just compound your problems by stating your heavily biased regurgitation of lies from CNN and the NYT with every post. You have been brainwashed.
BTW, I've written opinion pieces for our local paper and was complimented by the local editor for my writing style and content. They get published. I've also written technical articles for trade magazines and journals that have been published. So I'm not the one "butchering" the English language, as you put it.
It all comes down to power and results. These Dems hate the fact that an outsider has produced the results we have seen over the past 3+ years in the economy and our re-emphasis of the Constitution. That's bad news for Dems, especially with no real candidate running against Trump in November. Everything they try that's intended to derail his Presidency goes up in flames. And when they try and use a worldwide crisis to take him down and try and blame it on him, they look foolish.
But as you said, this is all about retaking power and they'll do anything and everything to get that done. The end justifies the means with these totalitarian socialists.
I'm not a big Trump fan and have said that on numerous occasions. I'd prefer another Republican candidate to run in his place....someone like a Ted Cruz or Tim Scott. But if Trump would by some freak of nature and some hanky panky performed by the Dems lose in November, I'd actually prefer that the Republicans maintain control of the Senate and regain control of the House. The national Senate and House races are more important than who is elected President.
I doubt that but he was /is hardly a leader. He was voted in simply on his dad's accomplishments.

From the Cheap Seats; Colin Powell did not FOOL anyone. He served this country well for many years. I don't agree with some of his positions today, but he has certainly earned the right to state his positions.

Good for you. I don’t brag about my writing I’ve made statements. And I’ve been published as well. In my profession I’ve also written technical material that went public. But that means nothing until you criticized me with two poorly written statements, and you did not understand the correct statement I wrote.
Please save your often repeated opinions about the NYT & the Wash Post. Both have highly regarded writers, pundits, editors, and reporters who have far more readership and influence than you. Your problem is that you don’t agree with them. That’s your problem. Further, you offered the highly opinionated and poorly written piece against Gen Mattis when the problem addressed was Trump. The problem is Trump. He lies, is a danger to the country, wants to be a fascist and is a flawed Individual in many aspects. There is no reason to believe this salesman should remain in office. His best choice is to resign. Republicans who follow him are in serious trouble.
As long as you are able to tell the difference between reporting and opinion, you can reference the NYT and Wash Post. I don't have to agree with opinion, but when reporting is presented to us as reporting when it is actually opinion, that's when I have problems with them.
My statements are never poorly written. Maybe they were poorly comprehended.

The NYT, WaPo, CNN and others don't publish or broadcast facts. They publish and broadcast opinion ONLY. But you present them on here as fact. Do you know how foolish that is? You do realize that the NYT editorial board that screens pieces to be published is comprised of a bunch of extreme leftist kids, right?
