If not for Narduzzi it's likely we don't get Hamlin. I think the same applies for Wade. At one time I think there was little to no chance but I think that's changed. There's going to be a number of big time guys in the next class from Western PA (Thorpe and Adams to name a couple others) and I'm sure this staff is going to go all out to get them. Duzz made Hamlin his #1 priority and that worked out ok.
He is Pitt at this point. No interest in psu either.
It was already mentioned that he and another recruit discussed how it would be cool if they stayed home and represented the hometown.

Every year we go threw this with a top recruit,Boyd,whitehead and now Hamlin,their always picked for another school till the end and they go to Pitt,To much works for Pitt for him not to come here,the top priority player that Pitt puts the time in for they usually always get them,and PN has an 85% commit rate of kids that took an official to Pitt committed

I do think Pitt gets Adams, Jeter, Robinson, Thorpe, Hinish, Hainsey off the Top along with Ford. We got a decent shot to flip Lugg. Pitt cleans up Central Catholic.
Our defense can be pretty stacked in 2 years, especially on the line.
With Hamlin, Ford, Garner, Mathews, Webb on board you have to like our chances but this will go to NLI Day no doubt!

I would absolutely love Thorpe. Uphill battle getting a nitter legacy. I think it would take a win against PSU, at least an 8-4 record here, plus the nits to turn in another 7-6 campaign with rumblings about Franklin's job security for it to happen. If Narduzzi can make this happen, it will be truly impressive. Pryts was a PSU legacy who flipped, so maybe times have changed.
Hainsey I think there is really a small chance. Thought he originally liked PSU.
And Wade it will be a decent shot.
Probably figures he knows all he needs to know about Pitt, and besides, it's not as if he needs the camp to get an offer.
Adams, at junior day, just tweeted that they got a police escort to the bball game, and then said "H2P baby!!"
