I tend to agree. I think Lamont already knows where he feels most comfortable and I don't think it is up at the cow pasture. Some of his Clairton boys are here and we are on the upswing as well as potentially having one of the best secondaries in the land that he could become part of. Who knows, maybe he plays offense, but either way I think there is a good chance he stays right at home.
If you had a kid that was a stud DB, would you rather have him play for a guy known for his defense, especially defensive back fields, or that moron up at ped state? These kids all expect to play in the NFL. Why not go somewhere that gives you the best shot?
Mr Hamlin says it is great to watch his son practicing at PITT. An added benefit with being local.

PSU insiders believe Jeter is a strong lean to Pitt. They also believe Wade is a PSU/TENN battle now that OSU is believed to be finished with DB's. They have 3 4* and one 5* DB's already. Not sure if Mich was every really in it, even though Wade said they were his dream school while he announced they were eliminated.
I have two close friends in the athletic dept and they both say that he is a silent verbal to HCPN. He believes his quickest route to the NFL is thru PITT/Narduzzi.

There is also no disputing that Terry $mith has done a good job getting in his ear and he likes PSU a lot.
