Wake Forest Game & Other Dribbles ...

And, unfortunately, THAT has become the story of this season.

Last year we had Louisville down in the second half, got tired and lost and then the season fell apart.

This season, the Ville b*tch-spanked us early, stole our lunch money and the team fell apart, again.

We don't have great talent by far, but we have enough we should have been in the NCAAT if these guys had kept their heads screwed on straight. Instead, they have p*ssed away what should have been a decent recovery season and possibly killed the program.
Agree 100% Harve. Mentioned that as well in an earlier post. Not saying this was an elite 8 or better team but if everyone gave max effort game in and game out they could perhaps have gotten to the sweet 16.

You do know I was kidding, right? Of course he passed the eye test.

People can argue the definition of clutch all they want, but I will say this about Robinson: over the course of his career, he has usually elevated his level of play in late-game pressure situations over his normal level of play. Some people may say that is damning with faint praise, but it is good to play better than your normal with the game on the line.

The sad thing is that if Jamel and Mike had blocked out against Miami, and we had won in OT, which I honestly think we might have, James would have had another huge late game-tying three pointer that would have been remembered fondly (at least but the non-haters). Shame it was wasted.

No, but I suffered through watching every second of whatever that was! Just pulling your leg.
It wasn't an artistic triumph. But at this point, I'll take it. Just win, baby, I don't care about the aesthetics. Form follows function.

In past years Syracuse has been a team we've had good success with and playing them has gotten us back on track- who knows maybe Saturday we'll witness the Panthers' resurgence back to where they were at the beginning of conference play which is a whole lot better than what we've seen of late.
