I was thinking about the same thing. If we could get receivers like Coach Harris recruited with what we have already then this team could be really good. I think the offensive line will be legit next year. They are all coming back except for grad transfer tackle

Not really. We had 372 yards passing on 51 attempts. We had 24 yards rushing on 25 attempts. It was obvious after the first few drives that Pitt couldn’t run but they did it anyway

You have to mix the run in some to back off the DL and to keep the safeties and linebackers from overplaying the pass, especially if you’re a pro-scheme offense. That’s a fundamental principle. 25 runs to 50 passes is about as pass heavy as it gets-especially when 9 of those carries were the QB-and at least half of those started as pass plays.

If PSU didn’t have to respect the run at all, it would’ve been a long day for Pickett.
