Was this an indicator that this team will be decent and have an over 0.500 season? Or, was this just a one-off game like the win over UNC at their place last season?
It looked real to me.Was this an indicator that this team will be decent and have an over 0.500 season? Or, was this just a one-off game like the win over UNC at their place last season?
It is more real than not. However, as I said before the game was played today, this was a good matchup for us. They play good, solid D, but don’t press. They don’t have threats under the basket and they don’t rebound particularly well. This is not a team that matches up well against us and it proved out tonight! Was this an indicator that this team will be decent and have an over 0.500 season? You know the answer. How many more games will this team shoot 67% from 3 point range? Was this an indicator that this team will be decent and have an over 0.500 season? Or, was this just a one-off game like the win over UNC at their place last season?
Yeah, you look like a real team when shots are falling in. And you don't look like a real team when they are falling out. I'm not sure we will continue to shoot like that. Not many, but they actually look like a real team on offense and even defense. Hugely an issue. Not sure he wants to be here or anywhere for that matter. Still a bummer about Dior. Good riddance to this boring B10 crap challenge.
I hear what you're saying. However, if we shot our season average in 3 point percentage, we still would have won by 8.Yeah, you look like a real team when shots are falling in. And you don't look like a real team when they are falling out. I'm not sure we will continue to shoot like that.
They moved the ball well and got open looks and made them. It’s been a while since all of those things happened in one game at the same time, which lead to a blowout. I agree that we still would have won if we shot more “normal”. Still need to cut down on the turnovers and missed layups, and we may tack a few more wins up.I hear what you're saying. However, if we shot our season average in 3 point percentage, we still would have won by 8.
Only about 10 turnovers last night and no missed layups that I recall except a few of the contested variety or when fouled on the play. But, I agree that it is a yes to both concerns based on the prior series of games. They moved the ball well and got open looks and made them. Nike missed a bunny that he makes 9 times out of 10, but otherwise the other misses in close were very contested.Only about 10 turnovers last night and no missed layups that I recall except a few of the contested variety or when fouled on the play. We will have to see what happens with the number of turnovers when we see lots of full court pressure going forward. That will be the test.
Poor choice of words. Hugley already has a “round” shape. 🙂Things could get really interesting if they continue to play like this, Hugley rounds into shape, and Dior becomes eligible.
Probably none. But there will be games where they shoot 40% or even 50%.You know the answer. How many more games will this team shoot 67% from 3 point range?
I agree … we shot well AND played well.I hear what you're saying. However, if we shot our season average in 3 point percentage, we still would have won by 8.
