I will play along. Please clearly tell us as the business expert that you are something SPECIFIC and REALISTIC that you would like to see Heather Lyke and Pitt step out on their own and do about this Comcast/ACCN issue.
However, in your response you cannot ignore the fact that back in 2013 Pitt (along with every other ACC member school) signed a Grant of Rights with the league relinquishing its television rights.
Most of us would argue that a "strong leader" wouldn't put his or her athletic department's primary revenue source in jeopardy by circumventing the agreed-upon negotiating structure, but I am open minded to what you suggest.
That's easy. Sue the ACC for non-performance. Leaders take action.
