The young team no-showed again, and then Clemson started hitting those wide open 3's. Honestly - pretty common with young teams.

Clemson was 11 for 20 from the 3 point line, as a team they were shooting 31% prior to PItt for the season.

People keep acting like it's a coincidence that teams are shooting above-average from 3 against us. It's not a coincidence if it happens over and over. We're not a good defense against the 3 for several reasons: 1) our bigs aren't great so we help to the inside, which leaves the 3 open if the guard can find the wing; 2) we aren't a good rebounding team, so we have to "help" rebound and that leaves the 3 open when the opponent gets an OREB; 3) we are young and not always dialed in on the perimeter, leaving the 3 open; 4) we don't always communicate well, which leaves the 3 open.

Teams aren't lucky against us from 3. They're just open.

A lot of college basketball teams are young and play well.

This team didn't take the Freshman to Sophmore performance jump which should be expected from certain players.

I think they thought they were NBA material or atleast that's what everyone was telling them and they just plain didn't think they had to get better.

Be careful what you tell people some of them actually believe it.

Trey and X were forced to take bad shots late in clocks because nobody was moving, nobody was getting open. Sure - those two need to improve, but it was a team loss last night.
