Won't they be granted an extra year like the spring time athletes? Brings up the other side of the coin, you'd have to increase scholarship limits to keep them and add an incoming class.
They move on with life, like everybody else in the world.
I think Pickett would be back and would basically gain the redshirt they requested from th NCAA going back to his true frosh year.As for many of the defensive standouts most will bolt for the league.
If there is no season, really wonder what happens to players like a Ford or twyman. They were looking for that season to move up the draft boards and work on a few things to solidify themselves as nfl ready.

Probably even some attrition if delayed till spring. And if shortened season some will definitely self limit in nfl mode.

Not like they're closed off communities on military bases that are locked down with no visitors or anything.
There's only 1,000 cadets per class at the Air Force Academy vs. 5,000 at Pitt. Little different.
