Do you want to remind everyone which coach lost to Akron at home the year before Narduzzi?
That was the year Georgia Tech scored 4 TDs by the time Eve 6 finished up both of their hit songs.

If you’re going to lose, who cares whether it’s because you can’t play D or O.... that’s the heart of the issue. The target is to build a complete team
Back to back 7 loss seasonsI don't think that's even accurate. Go back and look at the rosters. The overall talent was similar when each took over- Chryst also played a much easier overall schedule.

Staring 1-3 in the face
In year 4 if you’re getting not only beat but aren’t remotely competitive in those gamesThey played the current #21, #13 and #15 is up next. Most P5 teams are going to be 1-3 or 2-2 with that schedule.
People get so hung up on those numbers- which is why playing a tough OOC schedule makes no sense.
Most every other team goes 0-4 last year verses Clemson, UCF, ND and PedSt. That doesn't leave any much room for error; which is why no one else plays an OOC schedule like this.

Yes-
The program isn’t improving
Seriously you are worried about losing a mediocre recruiting class and few transfers? If you make the right hire guys are not going to leave in mass. If you bring in a dynamic coach and staff who can connect with the player none of this will be a problem. If you make the wrong hire then yes this could be an issue. Stability for stability sake is not going to improve the program. Some of these dopes never learn. With the new transfer rule we’d probably end up losing about 10 guys on the 2-Deep, and this recruiting class. Narduzzi and Co. would probably blow things up on the way out the door. We would end up taking 2 steps back, and people would be taking about Narduzzi in the same manner they talk about Chryst, Wanny, etc.
Is it really an accomplishment to win a division in which every team has 5 or more losses in the season? The bottom line is Pitt finished 7-7 which by any measure is mediocre. If you win the division in year 4, which has not happened before, is the program improving?
Do we need a coaching change every time there is s rebuilding year, or every year when the team does not live up to expectations?

You rebuild AFTER you produce a team that was truly an all around good FB team. This coach hasn't produced any team that had an effective O, D and special teams in the same year. He's delivered 2 teams who couldn't play defense, one team that couldn't play either and now we're entering the second season of a team with no offense. This isn't rebuilding; this is treading water with the waves lapping over our heads. Having said all that, we're stuck with the guy for who knows how long.....and we have, in the process, to listen to him justify dumb, indefensible decisions. If you win the division in year 4, which has not happened before, is the program improving?

Wisky has always recruited at pretty much the same level. It hasn’t dropped off a bit under P.C. As long as they keep winning like they have, it won’t.Chryst was also recruiting loads of players whose only other offers were MAC schools. Had he stayed, you would have seen the long-term effects of that -- and it wouldn't have been pretty.
Mark my words: Wisky will slowly decline as Chryst recruits fewer quality players. And do you think that Chryst could have had Pitt ready to play last Saturday like The Duzz did? If so, put down the crack pipe.
Narduzzi has his warts but let's not kid ourselves with revisionist history: Had Chryst's tenure lasted longer, his unwillingness to compete for higher-lever recruits and penchant for losing to weaker opponents would have ultimately regressed the program.
I’m sure a PS fan has Pitt’s best interest in mind.Seriously you are worried about losing a mediocre recruiting class and few transfers?
