When is 2025 schedule released with dates?

Who do we play on August 30th
Should be on the ACCPM show around the third week of January. Bos tick said on his show that the contract has been signed but it wasn’t made public yet. My guess it definitely has to be an FCS opponent since we play at WVU and host the Domers in addition to Central Michigan. It could be an ACC opponents as well and the FCS opponent in the end of September. No inside info but Duquesne has an open date on August 30 and Stanford does too. If an FCS school on the 30 of August somebody like Tennessee Tech still has an opening.

I could maybe see at Stanford on a Thursday or Friday night. They opened with TCU on a Friday night this year and my guess is that coaches would travel to the Bay Area for a weeknight Week 1 game rather than a Saturday during the season.

It seems crazy it took so long to lock in a 12th game (and it’s still not even announced). Is it Pitt being cheap and trying to negotiate as low of a payout to an FCS team as possible and other fcs schools not interested?

Then it's Duquesne. I think peak alluded to it a while back that it was a done deal. It was a Pittsburgh school though so if robert Morris is taken it must have been Duquesne

Duquesne doesn't have an announced game in Week 1 so maybe.

I'd rotate Duquesne and RMU forever. They are low level FCS so there's no risk of a loss and each school may sell a couple thousand tickets, which is more than a normal FCS school will sell. It also gives you a look at potential local transfers.

Stanford plays @ Hawaii Week 0 so I doubt they would want a short week for their conference opener. I could see playing there on Saturday though.
