Wished I could have been there to put eyes-on. "taller and shoot better" was my impression from afar based on recruiting videos---that was the reason that I remarked at some point past that I believed "Jim Boeheim would love this roster."

The player transfers and end-of-season collapses are definitely troubling. Happened at Oklahoma too.
He took a chance on Dior - whether he was mis-understood, troubled, a bad guy, etc., I don't know, but it's pretty bad nonetheless. I truly did think Dior was going to one of Pitt's top 3-4 players this season if everything stayed afloat, but it did not LOL.

Because he can get 3.5 million at a bettet program. Pitt is going to have to overpay like they had to with Oats and Hurley who wanted a premium to come here. We couldn't pay the extra $2 million, needed it for volleyball

Coach K Coaching Tree notwithstanding the guy is just a bad head coach. Would he even still be at Pitt without that ridiculous, ill-conceived extension and buyout? Mos def NOT! Hey I’m as hopeful as any Pitt Hoops fan every year but there a TON of ”If’s” around this roster and hoping for a .500 NIT season might be the Zenith for this underwhelming staff.

Let's not go that far. Capel is a trainwreck and should be gone. But we have to at least try and get someone better. It won't be hard if we really do our due diligence.
