Again same ole, same ole. Nothing new with this. The better women teams
in the ACC are on a whole different level than Pitt's women. As for Whitney.
she has and will have a decent game on occasion, but she is nowhere
the talent one would see on upper half of the ACC teams. She appears to me
to be a better than average athlete, but just an average Bball player.
Again, this a mid level talent wise team. We could compete in the
Atlantic 10. I watched St. Francis against us and they were terrible. We did
beat them in a very close game, and IMO they were terrible. Two other very
good athletes are Walsh and Bradley, but both are not above average Bball
players. I really like Walsh's hustle and ability to hit the three. Neither would see
significant floor time on a decent ACC team.
I may seem overly critical, but I'm just being realistic. I do see some very
good coaching here, but you still have to have some talent. The answer
will be in the recruiting. It'll take a few years.
