You don't need horses to run a simple zone play after losing like 15 yards trying to deicde what to run.
Cheney just came up a few plays short on alabama, the last 2 times they played. Canada lost to Ohio St, in a crazy season at maryland. It is not the coaches!

We are as talented as middle teen st and houston. Coaches are high level, we just have to settle down.

Picket sucks and because of this they should have just run the ball. This is a 9 or 10 win team with a good qb. I think they really need to bring in a transfer to push picket he has been really a real disappointment.
There is no chance you believe this team is any better with a different QB.
Pickett is no Teddy Bridgewater, but 5 yards passing, or whatever, he has to step it up. He is a pretty tough kid.
Our backups must be worse because these same coaches flip flopped quarterbacks like mad last year. Yet never voluntarily switched qbs this year, not once
There is no chance that I believe if Pitt could find a competent qb who could throw for more than 5 yards in a half that they wouldn't be a much better team? Picket has played well in 1 game all year wake. Other than that he has been along for the ride.
There is no chance you believe another QB would be any different in an offense that can't pass block and an OC that is as bad as this one. I'm not defending Pickett. I'm just saying this offense and the pass protection is so bad, it wouldn't matter who was QB
Lots of qb's would be significantly better. Picket just isn't very good. Watson would look much better if Nathan Peterman was the qb. Picket might improve but finding another qb to compete for the spot should be priority number 1 with a ol and TE as 2 and 3
We need more quick passes. Incomplete passes on three step drops are better than 8 yard lossless on sacks
The OL hasn't given Pickett any time at all this year except the Wake game.
They probably are running quick passing. Recivers are inadequate and can't get open. Plus they run a Wisconsin style offense, so quick game is not their strong suit, or practiced heavily.
