Yea but so what. There is tons of money to he made and football is the only 1 semester sport that do not play exhibition games in the other semester. I would think a new rule will be passed to allow teams to play 1 home and 1 away game in the spring. For Pitt, it would probably be PSU and then like Rutgers/Maryland type programs. PSU @ Pitt in April sells out. And I bet you get 20K for Rutgers @ Pitt.

You play your most important guys a couple series and then play the starters who aren't as important and backups. Injuries happen in practice, scrimmage, Spring Games, regular season, etc. Better now so you can go get someone in the portal. The risk of injury is worth the 7 figure, maybe 8 figure payday (at the biggest schools).

I just don't see OSU or PSU agreeing to come play an away game here in April. If they're gonna play, they'd want it at their place to get all the ticket revenue.

Ohio State and PSU already max out their games so there isn't a reason to do anything.
