That is the point. WIth how bad this passing attack has been all season, with 5 FKING YARDS PASSING UP TO THAT POINT, and the time remaining in the half, why would you even attempt to pass the ball? At what point did you have the belief that Pitt could pass the ball on Clemson?
The incompetence of the offense right now frustrating given the solid play on the defensive side.
Recruiting needs to be upgraded - no doubt. But this kid had some big offers so this one’s a little misplaced.

Watching Ollison and Hall pick up positive yards is so impressive with Clemson keying in on the run every play.
Watson isn’t getting plays in quick enough. Nor is the offensive playing with urgency

If Watson is not gone after this year , then Duzz should go with him after next year , if things are not much better, least 9-3 next year before bowl. And save winning the Coastal at 7-6 is something special. SPECIAL ED

After watching tape of them getting torched for 500 yards last week by a very mediocre USC team we have 5 yards passing. That should tell you all you need to know about this staffs ability to game plan
In more disappointing Pitt sports news, the women’s volleyball team lost to Michigan 3-2. Michigan had a 9-0 run at the start of the 5th set, and since the 5th set only goes to 15, it was too much of a deficit to make up.

Our first play of the 2nd half is REALLY all you need to know about Watson's ability to game plan. That single play should literally trigger a negligence clause to allow us to fire him with cause.
Somewhat agree, but South Carolina is still a better team than Pitt. They also have a QB that may end up on an NFL roster and a star WR that definitely will be.
