I mentioned this in another post. That sequence when it was 2nd and 25 and then 3rd and about 12-15. VA converting on that was terrible, and a terrible defensive call by Narduzzi on the 3rd down. I usually don't like Vuk, but I agree that series was more damaging than the 4th down call by the ref.

I am hoping they repurpose the Heatherena into a football team fun factory for recruiting purposes. Mini golf, pickleball, barber shops, recording studios, Tiktok studio, etc. What we don't need is a 2nd volleyball arena.

Well, paying $6.5M/year for him not to coach certainly isn't a good return on investment. Lyke might as well have given him a lifetime pass with that contract. This AD might not even be here by the time we could afford to unload Narduzzi.

If they would have got a hand on the edge guy or varied the snap count on Saul's field goal that was blocked, we probably win easily. However, we are Pitt, and any Pitt fan with years of experience, knows to expect mistakes like this that cost us games. As a fan now for so long, I have watched this game so many times before and knew the outcome long before it was actually over. It is the same over and over and over again. Does the Wake game from last year ring a bell? It's the Murphy's law thing, I think the guy was a Pitt fan who created the law while watching Pitt football.

It wasn't awful in 2021, but it was far from being anything special. As evidenced by the fact that they all returned in 2022 and got mauled the first two games of the season, against Louisville, etc. (I know they had some injuries, but still).
