Yeah, I'm not suggesting there is no possibility he can be a competent/good/really good QB. But he has a long way to go. Frankly, some of his success was just because he was the dude who was whipping it around the schoolyard without knowing any better. I think it was Cal that figured out his kryptonite is consistently dropping guys into coverage, and he's looked lost ever since.

And what would "solve" that problem is when teams are dropping everyone back in coverage, run the ball. But when your offensive line is completely incapable of blocking the opponent's defensive line running the ball doesn't work either.

I said this after the SMU game, and last night was another example of it, when your biggest question on offense is if you line is worse at run blocking or pass blocking you really can't be a successful offense.

Problem isn't Cade Bell.

We have 3 good RBs
That’s BS
That's the part that is driving me nuts. I refuse to believe that all of a sudden Daniel Carter and Rodney Hammond forgot how to run the ball. I was excited when Hammond came back and thought he'd thrive in this new offense. There has to be so much more.

If only there were a profession, say a collection of guys, and the description of the job was to ask questions about things concerning the program.

The other thing that has killed me is the refusal to give any help, in the guise of say an extra tackle on the left side, or at the very least put Overman there and let him help.

I like Des Reid but, 5'8", 175 ain't going to power an offense.

UVA loss on PN and staff

I don't understand how someone could think that if the ACC was deciding who to tell the refs to cheat for that they would pick the team that is going to struggle to become bowl eligible at the expense of the team with an outside shot at the college football playoff, a team that if they won last night would have set up a big game on ESPN next week between two top 20-ish teams.

That's got to be one of the more "interesting" examples of the world-wide conspiracy against Pitt that anyone has ever come up with.
I think you understand completely how someone could think that, you’re just trying to be somewhat diplomatic and not come out and say it.

You’re nuts. The idea of UVA football being the beneficiary of an ACC officiating conspiracy to hurt a 7-1 potential playoff team so that UVA had a chance to be eligible for the Lume Poop Bowl
in Gary IN is beyond laughable. That program, is, has always been and will always be totally irrelevant in the college football all lexicon.
