i will be celebrating by sleeping in until 11:00am then doing a spot on a chicago radio station.

Other than getting a bit hung up in a few screens, I thought he did well in defense, and honestly was a net positive compared to when he wasn’t on the floor. Given how bad he looked at first it was very encouraging to see.

I also hope they start setting some plays for him to get threes, or at least utilize him on drives and kicks. I think he could be lethal in that role.

I saw that JJ Kitchen on Twitter telling someone that Tepper cannot donate to NIL because he owns an NFL franchise otherwise he would.

Is that actually true? Not even that he would but that he cannot donate to NIL because he owns and NFL team.

Pitt comes in as the 5 seed in the West vs GCU in Seattle.

I think most of us knew that Pitt football wasn’t 7-0 level good…but we were excited anyway and thought the SMU game was the biggest game in years. Now the bottom fell out. Again, not incredibly surprised because most of us didn’t think we’d win more that 7 games anyways. But still very disappointing the way it’s happened.

The basketball team is 7-1. I think most of us think we are 7-1 good. And yes we can lose tonight but still feel pretty good about this season.

The question is, can anyone see the bottom falling out of this team like what happened to the football team? If you can, please give your reasons, aside from critical injuries, I just don’t see it. This appears to me that it’s a sweet 16 level team with a chance of losing a game before that in R32 or even a game after that In the Elite 8.

Here’s a deep thought. No I’m not predicting Final 4. Lol. But if presented with a bet of A) missing the tourney altogether or B) making the Final 4…which would be the safer bet?

Lord I hope we are not all out over our skiis on this one.

I haven’t been overly impressed with Miss State. Maybe Im missing something? Not a great FT shooting team. Like LSU has a great guard who can make threes but not a great 3pt team as a whole. This was always the game of 3 (WISC, Ohio state, ms st), I was least worried about, but again, what am I missing?

9-3 season for them is pretty awesome, and they were an eyelash away from beating SMU and having a really special 10-2 season under a first-year head coach. But I think you have to tip your cap any time a program like that goes 9-3 (kind of similar to what Syracuse did under a first-year head coach).

#Stability

They do the same thing with basketball. The portal opens after Selection Sunday and while you dont have opt outs for the NCAAT, coaches need to recruit transfers while participating in the NCAAT. How about waiting until the season is over? That way a lot of these kids would play in the bowls and then enter the portal.

Get them before they’re gone. Pitt plays Morehead State at 4 PM at the Pete on Friday.
