I was talking to a friend today who told me that independent pharmacies were dropped by UPMC January 1st.
We have Aetna and I admittedly avoid the news so this came as a big shock to me. I'm team UPMC, but why in the world did they do this? It can't be about price control since drugs have a price in network plans so it is what it is. I also understand that this disproportionately hurts rural communities who may not have bigger retail pharmacy departments locally.
It doesn't sit well with me and wonder if anyone has any insight into it?
Did I just see Pitt pull that out. With the number of times they climbed back in just to screw up then pull it out at the end, that was a helluva effort. Way to go Panthers.
I'll admit since the downhill slide, I casually paid attention, watched the games but wasn't crazily invested. This is so much fun right now. Being relevant is the bomb.
Nothing !!! Just beat a ranked team in front of a great crowd.
Best win in years IMO
Defense played great last 2 minutes and big shots from Hinson and Elliot.
I got on Cummings earlier but he played better in 2nd half.
Capel came through today. Great win Pitt.
Interestingly opened at Pitt -1. Basketball lines are weird, but don’t love that it moved away from Pitt. Regardless it’ll be another tight one! Fired up!
What do you think our most effective offensive sets that we run in terms of probability of getting our best scoring opportunities?
It was Spanish PnR I think we got away from that and just ran a pass to where Fede is at top and tried a handoff without the option of a shooter coming up top like in Spanish. They just switched and Fede isn’t an offensive option so we couldn’t really get good baskets off the pick and roll.
What offensive sets or adjustments would you make today if they play a Miami defensive team and they take away our big 3 point shooting part of our offense. Do we go back to more Spanish PnR, Zoom Action, Horns? What else do you think we run well for easier scoring opportunities or to set up open shooters outside? Or what changes can we make to what we have been doing to be more balanced today?
