“We had ‘em all the way”...congrats, Ladies!

Dayshanette Harris just put the team on her back in the second half. She had 4 points on 2-8 from the field at the half, and put up 16 on 7-9 from the field in the second half. Included in that was the game winning play where she beat a double team off the dribble, pulled up and hit an eight footer over the Notre Dame center with 2.7 seconds left to give Pitt a 67-65 lead.

And then for good measure after Notre Dame took a timeout and advanced the ball she stole the inbounds pass and for whatever reason Notre Dame never bothered to foul her.

Have to admit I was waiting for the wheels to fall off. Great job panthers! Huge upset

Harris is a star! Great win. Definitely trending up. Would like to see another shooter (maybe we have one with Prapa) and another consistent scorer. Happy for White and the girls they deserved this win.

Reactions: Saboteur
Before today's game Notre Dame's all time record in the ACC tournament was 17-1. Pitt's all time record in the ACC tournament was 1-6.

I honestly didn't think they'd win another. They have a decent nucleus returning
(not great, but decent). Harris is a legitimate talent and will be an experienced
sophomore along with other sophs who all played Hayford, Brown, and Igbokwe.
They along with redshirt frosh Ezeja who sat out make up a strong cast of
returnees along with Gabbie Green who will be a senior. Throw in Judlkins,
Knight and Prapa, and you have some experienced subs. Not sure where
Lemark fits in this.
The incoming recruits supposedly are a step up from what we presently
have, so the future looks promising.

The ACC is a damn tough women's Bball league, so much better recruiting
is a must if Pitt is going to move higher.

Really happy for Coach White! Been a long, tough, but necessary season for him and the team.

And beating Muffin McGraw makes it extra special.

Day Harris will be an ACC star. She’s been prepping for that last shot all season.

Go Pitt.

Great win!

Don't follow womens basketball much outside of Pitt. What happened to ND women's basketball?
