Except we very infrequently even got off any jump shots.
We committed turnovers on 30% of our possessions. Didn't even get ANY shots off at all for 1/3 of the game.
I guess it's tougher for me, having been a longtime regular who has a hard time forgetting the good old days, when the Lair was just so damn good, focused on analysis and appreciation for what we had.
Those days are long gone now apparently.
You see a day like today, most of the posts should be negative, deservedly so, whether you talk about poor shooting, FGs and FTs, multiple turnovers, why we can't recruits long athletic players like 'Ville, etc. there's plenty of justified negative stuff to say, and very little positive to be said. Actually our defense wasn't so bad.

First half defense was the only thing good about yesterday. Otherwise we were a complete mess.
Overall, giving up 59 points is not a bad effort in modern college basketball, this team has only been held under 60 twice this year, and those where in the only 2 losses. Failure to score in those two games where the reason they lost. Even if they had put forth a mediocre offensive effort yesterday, like 65 points yesterday, they win. Then again, it's about a 30 game schedule, they are vastly overachieving from expectations, you gotta figure in a few stinkers. I'm not at all down on the team.... Unless they do this for a few games in a row.
If you say it a million more times all that will do is make you wrong one million more times.
I don't think our defense was all that good either.... just that Louisville is offensively challenged.
