Their ESPN contract is up I believe so whenever they sign the new one which I think will be before the first game this season. Someone correct me if wrong.

That was fun to watch this past weekend. Thanks for the heads up. Nice to see Pitt Stadium packed for the '82 Backyard Brawl. Something about it being on campus and belonging solely to Pitt as opposed to the North Shore and sharing it with the Steelers.

When did the mustard color helmets become the brighter gold (like when Van Pelt played)?

There was so much talent in Western PA in the 70’s and 80’s when you watch those old replays. Pitt, PS, WV, etc. were all good teams with lots of starters from Western PA.
