If You think my expectations in the Pete or on my couch have any impact on the results -
You’re a silly goose

So when you said
“i find some positives, not giving up isn't one of them. not giving up and quitting early in second half should be expected. if you expect poor results, you'll get them..”

you didn’t actually mean it
Got it

They just missed shots against WV. The poise wasn’t there at the end against Ville either time. ND and Clemson shot lights out. V tech too.
Its always something when they lose.
How about they didn't play well, they looked disinterested in others, gave away leads, and couldn't capitalize on advantage Pitt.
It's not always the other team played well.

Teams have a chance to get better when they recognize their shortcomings.
Fans as well.

Other creating a toxic environment .

hell - at games there are always a group
Around with a constant running commentary about what the players are doing wrong-
Usually by some yinzers who probably never played a minute of organized basketball in their lives

I don't think any Pitt fans are doing what you're suggesting. I can't find too many fans who have suggested that Pitt has played well enough to win most of its games over the past month or two.

That said, there is a difference: sometimes you lose because you didn't play well enough to win, whether that's not shooting well enough, etc. That has happened quite a bit over the past few weeks, and it's been discussed quite a bit on the boards. Then, there are times where you do play overall "winning basketball" - NC State being the most recent example - but the other team plays slightly more-winning-basketball. Saying that isn't making an excuse; it's saying that your guys played well enough to win, but the other guys still played just a little bit better.

Their shortcomings are that they are very young and lack the poise and depth that come with experience and more than two recruiting classes. Those won’t be shortcomings next season. nor will they be the reasons that they lose games.

They will be a junior led team next season. Not as ideal as a senior led team, but much better than this season or last. If Brown could be an all ACC honorable mention next season, then that would be great. I don’t have faith Brown at all. No amount of coaching or experience can cure Brown’s ills.

Nah, man, you just don't understand. When Pitt doesn't win it's because our players don't care and they are a bunch of quitters who are all planning on transferring out and who are coached by a bunch of guys who couldn't run a pee wee team. We never lose because the other team is better than us or because the other team made shots that day or any other goofy reason like that. When we lose it's all on us, 100%.
