Interesting hire. Has had a pretty solid record at Boise State but (as far as I know) has zero ties to the SEC and has hardly been anywhere else besides inheriting the keys to a great G5 program.

Is it the coach or the system? Petersen proved you can have success elsewhere. We shall see...

Also, this is the second straight time that Auburn has hired an ex-Arkansas State head coach of all but one year.
