I never understood guys like H2Pittisit. Just admit you are a ped st fan and have good debates. It's pathetic to pretend to be a pitt fan.
Fun Fact: Before the '08 election, a guy who worked for me admitted that he was going to vote for Obama because of his race. I told him if he can do that, then so can I. As a matter of fact, Obama is more white than black, because he was raised by a white mother and white grandmother. So, he's more white than black.

I hear ya. I know some people like a black woman I know, her cublicle at work is all decorated with Obama portrait, calendars, mugs, family pictures etc. If you ask her any policy questions about Obama, she's knows not a single thing. IMO she wanted a black president and nothing else mattered.

Except the exact opposite is true now. Last year, 3 really good teams atop one division. That is their claim to being the best. Because the bottom of the big ten was absolutely morbid. It probably had the least parity of any conference in America.
Yeah coming from an Italian family and growing up around other Italian families, he very much was the figure Italians attached themselves to in college football. I didn't hate them when I was younger, I was just very much a pitt fan. Idk though I just couldn't get on board with supporting psu like many others. On top of it driving me absolutely berzerk that people in western pa wanted to call them the local team, something always seemed "off" about them. Then there was their delusional and whiny fans, that was enough to turn anyone away.
If you can't understand what the election of a black person to the presidency meant to black folks after 400 years of American history, you're beyond clueless. You might have noticed that not many of these same folks have pictures of Ben Carson in their cubicles. I can assure you that for every black person who voted for Obama simply because he was black, there are 2-3 whites who would never vote for him for the same reason.
If that were true, he would never have been elected.
I would trade our recruiting with over half the teams in that conference the past few years, so there is that!
Rutgers represented themselves fine, but to say they put a scare into Washington is silly. By the 4th quarter the game was never in doubt

I get it, just saying that it's a phenomena. Personally, I'd never vote based on race or gender or any demographic factor. I always vote based on what I perceive I might get.

You guys beat PSU last yr. We moon walked their ass. Lost a total of 3 games by a combined 5 pts. One in the Horseshoe to a team that was having their tushies patted by the refs all game. That is no joke either. I watched, but didn't have the emotion available to even get mad. The other to home team FSU with us missing 2 players that were AA caliber(Peppers and Butt), and Speight needing surgery on shoulder in off season.
Overall 2016 was a great season for Michigan, and yet we still see these "B1G sucks" threads from a couple of the cretins around here. Grow up. The B1G east is currently the best division in CFB. If Nard hadn't left MSU, we would have 5 damn good teams with Md stepping up under our former DC. Yes, Rutgers is still Rutgers. Cut us some slack. With Djs recruiting area though, Md could start to be problems for many teams.
Where is Cap BTW? I lost both my parents last yr in a 9 day span at end of OCT, and did a exit stage left from FB. I saw someone else mention him missing. Is he OK?
Anyways, GL this coming week. If you do lose, I hope you keep it close, and are ready for conference play.
