They will be favored and "riding high" due to their 8-4 record + probable beating of Drake Maye-less UNC but the reality is they aren't very talented. The RB is very good but beyond that, its a bunch of average P5 players. We arent very good but we arent any less talented than they are. You could see that when we played. 2 really bad teams.

It's pretty pathetic that you can hardly make a post without name calling, especially when talking about West Virginia University. It says more about you than any issue you talk about.
Did you watch Pitt/WVU? 7-6 at half. 14-6 late in 3rd. Both teams had the same pathetic amount of yards: 211. The 2 teams were as evenly matched as you can be. The difference is we played a QB who had the Yips.
Yea WVU with their back up quarterback. WVU ended the year with the 3rd best rushing attack in the nation.
Excuses,excuses. WVU rolled up 634 total yard against Cincinnati who beat Pitt but according to you Pitt was on the same talent level as WVU. Yea right!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jurko was the starting quarterback at the time. Think of another excuse.
Buddy boy, we both watched the teams play. Both teams had reserve quarterbacks. Both teams were terrible. And you were at home which is worth some points. The 2 teams played scaringly even. Our reserve QB sucked worse than yours so you won. Congrats. But you guys were terrible. Fantastic schedule though. Just fantastic. 0 wins over teams with winning records. Heck, even we had 1 of those. Only 2 wins vs .500 teams. We even had 1 of those. We were bad but we only lost to 2 teams with losing records. You lost to 1. The difference between Pitt and WVU this year was the schedules and our insistence on playing a QB with the Yips.
Listen dude Pitt was playing with its #1 quarterback and WVU was playing its #2 qb running a vanilla offense against a weak Pitt defense. Pitt sucked from the get go and WVU got stronger as the year went. And talk about weak ass schedules Its sort of like that schedule that Pitt played in the really down year that they won that so called ACC championship. Everyone knows that conference was way down that year. You can make all the excuses but WVU never went 3-9 at the bottom of the Big 12. Pitts season is coming back to reality after having one decent team
Why are you so fixated on Jurkovec being our starting QB? The staff clearly made a mistake. He was a 3rd best quarterback, maybe 4th best. And he was 3rd string a few weeks after the WVU game. You played your 2nd best QB. We played our 3rd best QB. If it makes you sleep easier at night that you technically beat Pitt's starting QB, great. But he was our 3rd best QB. Had we started either of the other 2, we win. Because your team was no good. Beating a bunch of mid-majors saved Neal Brown's job.....luckily for us.
I'm not fixated anybody especially your loser football progtam. Your starting quarterback was Jurko for 2/3 of the season. If Garrett Greene would have played we would have easily beat Pitt by 3 or 4 touchdowns. As for the other 2 quarterbacks you are talking about for Pitt they weren't much better than Jurko. You keep saying how bad we are and Pitt finishes 3-9.. I don't recall WVU finishing 3-9 even with Neal Brown. You are so full of excuses thinking Pitt is so much more talented than WVU and every 5 or 6 years Pitt might get a random win against us. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret Pitt is about where it has been the last several years in football and all sports. The only sport Pitt is good at is women's Volleyball. The problem with Pitt athletics is it has no fan base. You might draw 15 to 20000 fans at the Steelers Stadium that Pitt borrows or maybe 4000 people at Pitts basketball arena. It's really sad if and when Pitts on tv and all of the empty seats.
