He hasn't been as bad as last year but he hasn't made many good throws down the field. Two drops on Mack and the te were his best throws.

I’m not defending Pickett, but it’s not like there’s a single quality wide out for him to rely on. This WR group needs to step up big time.
Asking Pickett to throw 30 plus times a game is idiotic. Blow this program up.
The kid has no feel or pocket presence. He leaves the pocket when he doesn’t have to and sits in it when he can’t afford to.

The ol being all new is why they can't run it, also the rbs didn't make many guys miss.

No OC can fix a QB that cant handle pressure...especially in 3rd down.

We know because we have seen 6 guys drop balls tonight and we watched the same group play mediocre all last season.
Pickett's best weapon are his legs. The offense should run zone-reads with him and lots of RPOs.

Hard to run without any room to do it. When the offense was in some rhythm in the 2nd quarter and the zone blocking was effective the backs looked just fine.
Bad. No excuses. Doesn't matter if you root or like the kid, he is just bad. I mean I would take David Priestley over Pickett. I would take Pistol Pete Gonzalez. Hell, I would take John Ryan.
