cant get a read on him. Seemed like it was a done deal once we offered now it seems like we aren’t even recruiting him. Not sure I understand this play. Anyone have a better feel on the situation than me
I would take Gordon and Collier now. Then you can concentrate on getting a center and a point. That seems like it could take awhile.I feel Pitt believes they are recruiting "bigger fish" than Gordon. Whether that's smart or not or think they'll land those guys, is a whole other discussion. I think if they wanted Gordon, they could get him, but it appears they are keeping him at arm's length and would love to see where their top targets decide to go to first. It's great to feel positive about a player or two, but that isn't a sure thing in recruiting, since there are no sure things in recruiting.

Is it fair to say he is similar to DJ Kennedy at the same stage?I don’t know if Pitt is slow playing Gordon but IMO it would be a mistake. Has improved his game a ton over the past year. Long, athletic, and his best BB is ahead of him. I feel he is underrated nationally.

I agree.I would take Gordon and Collier now. Then you can concentrate on getting a center and a point. That seems like it could take awhile.
Right on Gary! When we land our first class of top 100's under Jeff Capel, then and only then, should we consider slow playing recruits.I would take Gordon and Collier now. Then you can concentrate on getting a center and a point. That seems like it could take awhile.
Agree, like Gary2 said earlier, we definitely take Gordon and Collier now. These are good, good players that can contribute and continue Pitt’s ascension up the ACC ladder. Let’s get some nailed down!
