she has nothing to do with getting us a bowl at 5-7. First there has to not be enough 6-6 teams and second we have to be one of the highest ranked APR 5-7 teams. Our AD has nothing to do with that, this is out of her hands.

If they give him full support , who knows what can be done. Being coach of Pitt is like the Pirates manager , you really don't know how good they are , until they get the next job. Maybe that will change at Pitt , and we shall see.
Take Wisconsin, they have a football man running that program , so they will be good with most decent coaches, they care. Maybe it's time for Pitt to care. There is a bright future , and I'm not sold on Duzz just yet, but whoever is the coach support them period. Hope that helps ?
Oh I agree with that. I don’t have any insider knowledge but it does seem no matter who the coach is there’s not enough commitment (aka dollars).
WE had the discussion about the assistants salary last week and I said they should give him more money but tell him to get new guys. I think really you just have to give the HC the money needed let him pick or keep his guys and then the HC will either succeed or be fired. You can't start telling PN(any HC) who he needs to keep or not keep he makes the decision and if they suck he pays the price. So they should give him the money for raises.

So? I know lots of people who have a certain aptitude or have good people skills in Sales who make a good amount of money but are otherwise dumb as a box of rocks/slow on the uptake.
