Feel Sorry For All Of Us

Maybe people can't get there , that has nothing to do with voicing an opinion...

I donate have 4 tickets to each game. My son likes VT, we live closer to VT than Pitt, his birthday is today , he doesn't get my passion for Pitt, I can see why. They have stunk since he was born

If you went to the VT game and it was your son's birthday, then why did you waste so much of the day posting on here?

But they'll have their excuses. Hell, at the end of the game, there were more Ok.State fans there than Pitt fans. And they had to travel from OK.
OSU fans were having a great time !
Expecting Steeler like attendance or even 50k people to show up to a team that through the yrs has been disappointing is asking a lot .
My experience is that in any business ( and yes this is a business ) you normally get the support you truly deserve .
No one owes it to Pitt to show up for their games . They need to put a team on the field you want to see .
Sports is entertainment after all and if your not putting on a good show no matter what we're talking about
( FB , bb movies , concerts , etc ) people won't go .

I just don't understand something. Why do we have so many on here complaining about the piss poor performance of this Pitt team today, yet so many didn't show up for the game? There may have been 30,000 there at the peak on a beautiful day with warm temps and a top 5 team in town. Midway through the 2nd quarter, the fabulous Pitt students were bailing and maybe 1/3 of them were remaining after halftime. Less than a couple hundred were left in the 4th quarter.

I believe that if a better product were on the field, more people would come to the games. But I also believe that if you weren't there or don't make an effort to be there, then STFU.

I can't believe you posted that. The score was 35 - 0 at the end of the 1st quarter.
People don't support or associate themselves with losers.

Finally you STFU.

See Wanny had connections , that helped as he was getting zero support. Duzz gets no support with I'm guessing much less connections.

I didn't think USC had an on campus stadium.
The Coliseum sits across the street from the main USC campus, in Exposition Park, a quick 10 minute walk. Here are some excerpts from a Wikipedia post on USC's 98 year lease on the Coliseum (full link below):

"Under the lease the University has day-to-day management and operation responsibility for both the Coliseum and Sports Arena properties. The 98-year lease took effect on July 29, 2013, and was signed by the parties on September 5, 2013. The agreement requires the University to make approximately $100 million in physical improvements to the Coliseum, pay $1 million each year rent to the State of California, maintain the Coliseum's physical condition at the same standard used on the USC Campus, and assume all financial obligations for the operations and maintenance of the Coliseum and Sports Arena Complex.[14][15]"

To come to a PItt game I have to fork over about $2,000/game. Why would I spend that kind on money on this crap? Let alone the 3 days of travel and inconvenience. One where I can't even have a Saturday on campus game day experience, only watch a crummy football team play. And your comments betray themselves - Ask yourself the simple question, Why is it that OKSU had more fans at the end of the game .... could it be that the Pitt fans and students left in disgust?

What I found funny was that a lot of the Ok State fans, who traveled reasonably far to get here, were leaving early.
