I hate to disagree , I don’t think one thing has anything do with the other . Murphy wanted out and got out ASAP , if Femi wants to come to Pitt there was going to be a spot one way or another .

Did you feel that way before TheLogicalTake mentioned it last week? Bergeron seems like a fine recruiter who has connections in the New England prep scene, but it's easy to bring in a bunch of kids to UMass when you coached all of them at Woodstock the year before you got hired. Going toe to toe with P5 schools for kids that you didn't literally just finish coaching a month before you got hired is a different matter
