And for good reason. He is so predictable when he goes conservative. We should have won this game with the defensive adjustment we made in the second half. Terrible offense.
We have serious, serious problems at QB and WR. Honestly, this is the least talented I can ever remember Pitt having at those positions even going back to the dark years of the 90s.
And if we let him play out the year, we will not have anyone ready for next year. He is garbage. The only pass he threw in the second half that was
near a player was the interception.
I don't think the offensive line has played as great as expected. Officer does not look like an award candidate and Alex B is still playing very young football. JJS might be the better option and move biz to RG. Secondly Pitt didn't apply much pressure today to help the secondary. While our corners are not elite athletes it doesn't matter how could you are if you miss communicate overages.

Have to agree. If Peterman can't throw and the only alternative is to run up the middle every play, put the next guy in and get him some experience. Canada has been fired everywhere he's been. Narduzzi only hired him because they were friends from Northern Illinois days. #TooLoyal.

See, the difference is that I know I'm not qualified to make judgement calls about Division I coaching decisions. But then again, I also don't make posts with headlines demanding the immediate dismissal of someone far more qualified and successful than myself. Doing that would just make me look like some delusional armchair AD that can't understand why the people on the tv box won't listen to the advice I am shouting. *cough*
Well, Canada was out there, after he was fired once again , and not a sniff, until his good buddy and close friend for years threw him a bone.
Duzz will live and die by his hires, so hope he is right , he would be the first right about Canada, as he FAILED everywhere else
Unfortunately coaching is a very tight community. You become friends with someone 30 years ago and whomever is more successful will constantly take the other guy with him. "Yeah he was the video coordinator in 1993 and he has a great knack for the game. We're lucky to have him".
Wow. Offense has scored 73 points in 2 games, yet fans want to call OC garbage? He's had 1000 yds in 2 games with a non-existent downfield passing attack, and drew the praises of many TV commentators after PSU game. You are entitled to your opinion, I just have a different one. He seems good to me so far. Looking for more out of Peterman though.
I agree. I will reserve my judgement until he has a qb capable of throwing an accurate pass downfield. I truly believe that Canada sees that Nate is not a capable qb all week long in practice, and makes his gameplan around it. It's pretty amazing that we've scored as much as we have without a capable qb. I mean, it seems like we run only a few plays, and still manage to score as many points as we have-pretty remarkable. Hope it can continue.
FIRED from 4 jobs in 10 years, and was out of work , maybe for good at power 5 until his buddy Duzz came along.
Here is my issue, and this is his track record , over his whole career, look it up. Will come out like a gang buster, call miss directions and great pass plays, get it going. After the half, settles in and runs runs runs, and when it don't work, runs some more. He allows every team he has played to hang around , and that's why he was fired often and recently

I didn't hate the play calling I hated the execution.
Is peterman that bad or is it our wide outs or both?
Peterman definitely had time the throw but I never saw a guy so uncomfortable in the pocket. Yes, even more than tino.
Makes me wonder, is our wide receivers that bad that they can't get open or Nate just can't get them the ball?

He never was at a school worth a shiiit in real big boy football, outside of a whisky, and let go after 1 year, and told to go elsewhere, but hey, think of it this way, he will always keep one team or both in every game 
You may be right, but new broom sweeps clean. Didn't he score 70 for Wisconsin against Neb in B1G title game? If Narduzzi has confidence in him (he worked with him previously), then he needs a chance. Just what is the problem you see so far? 73 pts, 1000 yds in 2 games against decent competition. Pitt has a non-existent downfield passing game, and they are still moving ball. His opening drives last 2 games have been tremendous, and he has drawn accolades from TV commentators.

I guess you didn't know that NC State gave him a pay increase on a 3 year contract the previous January after Tennessee offered him their OC position. And he was "let go" because he was leaving?
Do you expect assistant coaches to remain at a school when the head coach gets fired or takes another position like at Indiana and Northern Illinois?
