First ACC team Championship Trophy for Pitt

Pitt is the ACC co-champion, tied with Louisville at 18-2, as the ACC does not have a volleyball tournament and the regular season champions are the recognized conference champions. This is the first recognized ACC team championship for Pitt and the first ACC championship trophy won by a Pitt team. Wrestling finished an undefeated regular season in 2014, its first year in the conference, but the ACC officially recognizes only the ACC wrestling tournament champion, at which Pitt finished 2nd that season.

Pitt volleyball finishes the regular season 25-6 and is currently 25th in the RPI. The NCAA will announce it's brackets tomorrow and Pitt will receive its second straight post-season birth.
